Since 1988, the mission of our eye care practice has been to provide Southwest Missouri residents who have eye disease or low vision with greater freedom to enjoy life’s everyday activities.Our board certified eye surgeons have transformed the lifestyles of tens of thousands of patients through no-stitch cataract removal and lens implants, glaucoma treatment, corneal transplants, bladeless LASIK laser vision correction, and cosmetic procedures such as eyelid lifts and blepharoplasty.
We believe vision correction should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we have 11 locations served by our medical team, including four board-certified ophthalmologists. Dr. Chuck Jansen practices full-time in Springfield along with Dr. Dan Osborn. In Branson, Dr. Larry Meyer is the full-time eye surgeon and in Joplin, Dr. Ernie Bhend is the dedicated surgeon. Certified therapeutic optometrists, Dr. Jim Bureman and Dr. Kristin Ham, complete the team and rotate among locations.
