Meyer, M.D., has been named the eye surgeon of choice for Institute’s Monett location at Cox Monett Hospital. Dr. Meyer specializes in no-stitch cataract surgery, bladeless LASIK laser surgery, the medical treatment of glaucoma, cosmetic eye procedures such as Botox for eye wrinkles, and plastic surgery of the eyelids including eyelifts. A native of Aurora, Missouri, Dr. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University’s Shreveport School of Medicine where he was recognized as chief resident. Dr. Meyer practiced in Illinois before returning to Missouri to provide the highest quality medical and surgical eye care to residents of Springfield, Branson, and now, Monett.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Meyer also is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Medical Association.
