Missouri Eye Institute, the area’s most progressive medical center for specialty eye care including laser vision correction surgery and premium lens implants for cataract patients, announces the launch of its redesigned Web site that features a simplified, intuitive navigation structure and robust search options to improve access to information. Located online at www.missourieye.com, the site is a reflection of the medical practice’s ongoing commitment to increasing the accessibility of eye care services to residents of Springfield, Branson, Joplin and the entire southwest Missouri region.
“Since our practice opened over a decade ago, our doctors have experienced a growing need for specialty eye care services throughout the region,” says Dan Osborn, MD, a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Institute’s medical director. “We’re excited not only to launch our redesigned Web site, but especially to better utilize the Internet in making it easier for area residents to locate the services and information necessary to protect and improve their vision,” Dr. Osborn stated.
Additionally, the Institute’s four board-certified ophthalmologists and therapeutic optometrists are dedicated to facilitating increased community engagement around issues related to vision care and disease prevention through social media share options of the site’s educational articles and blogs. To continue the conversation, residents also are encouraged to become a “fan” of the Institute through its new Facebook page at www.facebook.com/missourieye.
